CLPD mission
The mission of the Center for Learning and Professional Development (CLPD) Continuing Education Program is to assist healthcare professionals in meeting their commitments to lifelong learning and enhancing individual and collective knowledge, skills, strategy, performance of the healthcare team, and ultimately the improvement of patient outcomes. We meet our mission by generating evidence based, unbiased educational activities and interventions in diverse and supportive learning environments.

We do this by striving to change and evaluate our learners’ competence and performance and those changes with improvements in patient outcomes and population health.
