Hernia Surgery Center

A hernia happens when an organ in your body pushes through the layers of muscle that surround it. A doctor may recommend surgery to repair a hernia that has become painful.

The Hernia Surgery Center repairs a variety of hernias, including two common abdominal hernias: the inguinal hernia and the ventral hernia. We also repair femoral, hiatal, and other hernias.

Our surgeons use both open and minimally-invasive techniques to repair hernias. Minimally-invasive hernia repair:

  • May cause less pain than open hernia repair
  • Leaves only small scars
  • May allow a patient to return to normal activities in a shorter amount of time
