In healthcare, it can be hard to see a specialist quickly. We have created a special clinic to help with this. The Gastroenterology Rapid Access Clinic offers first-time telehealth visits for many conditions and symptoms, including:
- Abdominal pain
- Bloating
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
- Heartburn
We aim to schedule these visits within 2 weeks after we receive a referral from your provider.
How long does the appointment take?
The appointment is a 20-minute video visit with Kaylea Masters, APRN, who is a trained expert in gastroenterology nursing. She will talk with you about your medical history and current symptoms to make a plan for your next steps.
Next steps
Based on this visit, we may recommend:
- Blood tests
- Colonoscopy or upper endoscopy
- Additional specialized testing
- A treatment plan
- A referral to one of our gastroenterology specialists
