Clinical pathologists with sub-specialty training in blood banking and transfusion medicine are available 24 hours/day, 7 days per week to assist with clinical management and support of bleeding patients, including:
- Bedside transfusion support for traumatically injured patients
- Patients requiring massive transfusion
We provide consultation on patients with special blood product needs, support evidence based transfusion and laboratory testing practices, and provide apheresis consultation and treatment.
