Work readiness assessments
A work readiness assessment is a 75-minute assessment that can help you understand your current work capacity. It can also formulate return-to-work strategies and develop a framework for a safe and successful return-to-work plan.
To schedule an assessment, ask your provider to write a referral to our Work Readiness Assessment Program (WRAP). WRAP is an outpatient rehabilitation service located at Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics Heater Road in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Functional capacity evaluation
A functional capacity evaluation (FCE) is a comprehensive and validated evaluation used to measure your physical and cognitive abilities, which are necessary to complete your specific work demands. The FCE provides detailed information that can inform your return-to-work plan or limitations.
What does an FCE consist of?
- Material handling
- Positional tolerances
- Fine and gross motor abilities
- Strength and endurance
- Reasoning and problem-solving abilities
Please note: You must have a specific FCE referral from your medical provider prior to scheduling an appointment.
