Adult Neurological Occupational Therapy

Our outpatient neurological occupational therapy team works with you by identifying therapy goals based on your meaningful daily activities. We create an approach to therapy that maximizes your ability to return to your daily activities. Common adult conditions seen are:

    • Functional electrical stimulation
    • Hot packs
    • Paraffin
  • Management of swelling
  • Planning for your return to work
  • Specialized equipment to retrain arm and hand control after neurologic injury including Sabeoflex products
  • Training in equipment to help you adapt to your condition or illness (shower chair, reacher, button-hook)
  • Training in fatigue management

  • Vision training in daily activities
