The return to running assessment addresses your strength and mobility needs and includes:

  • Readiness-to-run screen
  • Treadmill analysis
  • Personalized exercise program

The postpartum return to running assessment may be right for you if you:

  • Are at least 12 weeks postpartum
  • Have no current pain or injuries
  • Have the ability to walk for at least 30 minutes without
    difficulty
  • Have clearance from your OB-GYN for return to exercise

What is the postpartum return to running assessment process?

Readiness to run screen

We conduct a series of tests to assess your functional strength and mobility, such as:

  • Running-specific movements

Treadmill gait analysis

You run on a treadmill, and we evaluate your running mechanics.

Exercise program

You receive an exercise program customized to your specific needs.
